The fifth and final film in Great Ocean – Sangharakshita and Friends, Abiding, Part Two follows Sangharakshita into his later years at Madhyamaloka and Adhisthana. Through testimonies of friends and disciples, it traces the bonds and ruptures of community life, the challenges of controversy, and the intimacy of spiritual friendship in times of vulnerability. Interwoven with dreams, reflections, and moments of unexpected tenderness, the film closes the series with a portrait of a teacher abiding through change, sustained by friendship and the ever-living current of the Dharma. 1997-2018
